Nigerians Share First Impressions of The New Chinese-Built Lagos to Ibadan Railway

Passengers have had a week to try out Nigeria’s brand new Chinese-built standard gauge railway that links Lagos to Ibadan. Those who have completed the 2.5-hour one-way trip seemed very pleased and downright excited that Nigeria now has a modern railway. There were a few grumblings over the high ticket prices but others argued that cheaper tickets would cause the service to be quickly overwhelmed by too many passengers.
