Angola to Set Up Police Station Serving Chinese Community

The Government of Angola will set up a police station to serve the Chinatown district of its capital Luanda, announced José Bamoquina Zuwu, Angola’s Interior Minister. He made the announcement during a rare visit to the Chinese neighborhood.

The move follows increasing attacks against Chinese residents in Angola and neighboring countries. The police station would echo a similar community-police liaison set up in South Africa, which led to fake news that the Chinese government is opening police stations in South Africa.
